Although I have lived in Michigan for over 25 years, I am still awestruck every time I gaze out at the blue waters of the Great Lakes.   I am drawn to the play of light and shadows and the abstract shapes that are created, and I am particularly interested in the reflections in water.    I like the fluidity of oil paint and the depth that can be created with rich layers.
